Every worker submits identity documents and trade experience, which our verification team reviews before a profile goes live. Trade skills and references are checked, and the profile carries a verification status contractors can see before booking.
No. Workers booked through Buildpal stay independent marketplace workers. They are not your employees and are not permanently assigned to you. You manage a worker only during the active booking window; once the booking ends, the worker returns to the open marketplace and can be booked again by you or another contractor. This keeps the flexibility construction labor depends on while still giving you verified records and accountability.
The card and reader are how most sites confirm attendance, but they aren't required to register, build a profile or accept bookings. Sites without a reader yet can manually confirm attendance using the supervisor app in the meantime.
