No day's pay is worth an injury. These basics apply on every site.
Wear your safety gear
Wear a hard hat, a high-visibility vest and strong boots on every site. Ask the site supervisor for any gear the work needs.
Speak up about danger
If something looks unsafe, stop and tell the site supervisor before you carry on. Report any injury straight away.
Your pay is backed by your record
Every day you check in is recorded. Pay is calculated from those taps, so what you're owed doesn't depend on anyone's memory.
What Buildpal does and doesn't change
Buildpal doesn't change the legal duties a contractor has towards you. What it gives you is a record of your work that you own and that follows you.
