Your tier, from 1 to 4, is a record of proven work. Here is what builds it, why recent work counts most, and why it moves carefully.

Tiers are a record
A higher tier means your work is more proven, not that you are more skilled. A Tier 4 carpenter is a more proven one, not a better one.
Reliability, quality and attendance
Three things build your score: turning up to the work you accept, how your work is rated, and your check-ins at the gate.
Recent work counts most
Your score looks at your recent work. A bad month fades over time, and so does a good one. New workers aren't judged on one or two jobs: your score moves as your record grows.
Tiers move carefully
Your tier can't jump up and down week to week. It changes a step at a time, after a review, so it stays fair.
